Project Scope: Wall panelling, bar, kitchen
The Mairangi Bay Bowling Club underwent a transformative renovation following a significant flood event, rejuvenating its facilities into a contemporary haven of functionality and style. Central to this project was the refurbishment of their wall paneling, kitchen, and bar areas, resulting in a space that seamlessly blends brightness, simplicity, and modernity.
The kitchen boasts white anti-fingerprint cabinetry adorned with smart silver handles, offering a clean and modern aesthetic while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. The dark-veined HPL (High-Pressure Laminate) benchtop adds a touch of sophistication, providing a robust surface for culinary preparations.
In the bar area, a wine cabinet stands prominently, featuring fitted slots meticulously designed to cradle wine bottles securely. This thoughtful addition caters to the club’s penchant for hosting large functions and events, ensuring that their wine collection is both accessible and beautifully displayed.
Near the bar, a standalone upper cabinet incorporates integrated wine glass holders, strategically placed to facilitate effortless access during gatherings. This feature not only enhances convenience but also adds a touch of refinement to the bar’s organisational layout, catering to the practical needs of both staff and patrons alike.
The continuity of wall paneling from the bar area through to the function halls and corridors at Mairangi Bay Bowling Club showcases a practical and economical design solution tailored for public spaces. This cohesive approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also contributes to the overall functionality and maintenance of the club.
